PLEASE BE AWARE OF ALL RULES
1. GoddessFest 2009 is a Tent Camping only event. There are hotels available in nearby Anderson
South Carolina. Persons are responsible for their own reservations and out-of-pocket expenses.
2. Fishing will be allowed, however it needs to be away from the swimming area due to safety reasons.
State Fishing Laws Apply. Boating will be handled the same way.
3. Swimming is allowed, however, there will be no life-guard. This will be swimming at your own risk.
Cat’s Lair, its members, and associates will not be held responsible for any injuries or accidents
regardless of situation.
4. If fishing or swimming becomes a problem or hazard. Cat’s Lair Temple has the right to ban the
activities in question.
5. Persons' less than 18 years of age must be present with Parent or legal Guardian. No Exception.
6. All persons must sign and acknowledge the rules and regulation with a consent form.
7. Campers and Day trippers are responsible for all their own personal items brought to GoddessFest
2009. Some examples are, shower supplies, food, chairs, bedding, suntan oil, repellent, flashlights,
coolers, tents etc.
8. Cameras will be allowed, However, we ask that you gain permission before taking any photos. Any
person violating this will have their camera confiscated and returned to them upon leaving the event.
(This includes phone-cams, video camera, digital camera.)
9. There will be no pets. Park Rules say you may have one- HOWEVER WE DO NOT ALLOW ANIMALS. WE
HAD TOO MANY PROBLEMS IN YEARS PAST. SEEING EYE DOGS AND OTHER TRAINED ANIMALS THAT
HELP THE DISABLED ARE ALLOWED. Nudity, firearm, fireworks, or illegal drugs are not allowed.
Violators will be escorted out of Goddessfest 2009 with no refund or entry back in.
10. Parents/Legal Guardians are responsible for their children at all times.
11. We allow one central fire. Personal fires are allowed in the fire ring at your tent site. No other ‘on
the ground’ fires are allowed. Please provide your own firewood. No cutting of trees will be allowed.
Hibachis, grills, camping stoves (propane), are allowed.
12. Please no trash or cigarettes in the central fire. This is sacred fire, so we ask that all trash and
"butts" not be placed in or around the fire. Cigarette butt cans will be placed around the fire for your
convince. If this becomes a problem all smoking or/and eating will be stopped. Please keep the central
fire clean. Thank you.
13. Your tent must stay on the pad provided.
14. There will be no moving or "claiming" of any one space/area. If a certain spot is desired please
contact Cat’s Lair Temple and we will do what we can. However, Cat’s Lair has final say as to where
people pitch their tent(s) and park.
15. If you are disabled we must know ahead of time to provide space. Please note we have limited
space for disabled/handicapped persons and we can only accommodate so much. Please contact Cat’s
Lair Temple with any and all concerns Thank you
16. Only authorized persons will be allowed to tend and feed the Central fire.
17. If you would like to donate any firewood for the central fire, we would appreciate it.
18. All vending questions will be handled by the vending coordinator.
19. Security is provided to ensure continual harmony of GoddessFest 2009. Security Personnel will
have final say in all matters, all arguments, or disagreements. If you see any or know of any illegal or
dangerous activity happening. Please report it to any Cat’s Lair Temple Security Team/ or member of
Cat’s Lair. Thank you.
20. BECAUSE OF TOO MANY BOUNCED CHECKS, THEY ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTED. MONEY ORDERS or
cash is accepted.
21. Cat’s Lair Temple has the right to remove/ "kick-out" anyone who endangers the harmony/safety of
GoddessFest. Anyone who has been "kicked-out" will not get a refund and will not be allowed back in.
22. CAT’S LAIR TEMPLE, ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS, ITS MEMBERS, OR STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA,
WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTS, THEFT, OR ANY OTHER ACTS BY MAN OR NATURE. ALL
PEOPLE ATTENDING WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN ACTIONS AND ASSUME ALL RISK
ASSOCIATED WITH THIS EVENTS. PARTICIPATION IN Goddessfest 2009 IS "AT OWN RISK"
23. There will be No-Refunding of Money after June 15, 2009, period. The only exception would be the
cancelation of GoddessFest 2009 due to a natural or manmade disaster such as a fire, hurricane,
earthquake, flood, local epidemic, road closure etc.
